The 27th Conference of the International Union for Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI) will be held on 27-29 September 2012, in Antalya, Turkey. Antalya based at the coast of the East Mediterranean, is one of the most enchanting cities of Turkey. The Organizing Committee wishes to welcome participants to the conference, with the concept of “Ex Oriente Lux”. Great and wonderful cultures have reared magnificent Empires and civilizations all over the East throughout the history with many influences on today’s world. Many branches of social, medical and applied sciences have originated from the East and have illuminated the world. Once more, the light of science for sexually transmitted infections will rise from the mystic atmosphere of the East Mediterranean in 2012. The conference is highly apt to attract many health professionals from all over the world to Antalya with the slogan “STI and HIV: Time for protection”.
